RCT of dasatinib plus quercetin on physical function in frail people with HIV aged 50+
This Phase II randomized controlled trial tested dasatinib plus quercetin (a senolytic combination) versus placebo in 80 people with HIV aged 50 or older who were frail or prefrail and virally suppressed on antiretroviral therapy. Participants received six cycles of the drug or placebo over 12 weeks (2 days on, 12 days off pattern), then were followed for another 12 weeks. The abstract does not report the results or whether physical function improved.
